Hola Cecily. I read about your project to test vegetables and soil in the urban gardens of Philadelphia. I live in Germantown and have a plot in a community garden on Penn and Grenne. I have been gardening and eating veggies from my plot for the last 3 year, but I always wonder about contamination of soil and therefore vegetables. I would love to have information about the results of your study and even ask you if maybe you can include our garden in your research.
Thanks so much for this important work and please let me know any information that you can provide.

Hi Sandra, thank you for reading my blog. I’m glad you came upon this work. Please send me an email at cecily.moyer@gmail.com and I will give you more details. Is your garden a community garden– is it used by more than one person or family? If so, we would like to test your garden sometime this coming week. Looking forward to hearing from you!
